dp.life App Safety Standards
1. Our Commitment to Child Safety
dp.life maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and any content, conduct, or attempt that endangers minors. We are committed to providing a safe environment for every user and to complying with the Google Play “Child Safety” standards and all applicable laws. Protecting children is a non-negotiable priority across our product, moderation, and reporting systems.
2. Minimum Age and Age Assurance
The App is available to users of all ages. Where applicable law sets a minimum age for certain features, we apply that requirement as required. We remain committed to protecting minors from abuse and exploitation, as set out throughout these Safety Standards.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and will be removed and reported:
- Any sexualization, exploitation, or abuse of minors (CSAE), including grooming, solicitation, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Creating, sharing, requesting, or storing CSAM, or links to such material.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse of any user.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, or any sexual content directed at or accessible to minors.
- Attempts to contact, deceive, manipulate, or meet minors for sexual or exploitative purposes.
4. Reporting and User Controls
We make it straightforward to report harm:
- In-app reporting: every profile, message, post, and group provides a single, unified “Report” control that routes directly to our Trust & Safety team.
- Dedicated safety contact: safety@dplife.org for child-safety and abuse reports.
- Block and mute: users can block or mute any other user at any time.
- Privacy controls: users decide who can find them, message them, or see their activity.
We acknowledge safety reports and begin review promptly, typically within 24 hours, and take corrective action including content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
5. Detection and Moderation
We combine automated and human review to detect harmful content and behavior:
- Automated classifiers and hash-matching against industry CSAM hash lists to detect known abusive material at upload and distribution.
- Proactive scanning of discovery feeds, messages, and media for grooming, exploitation, and policy violations.
- A trained Trust & Safety team that reviews reports and escalates lawful disclosures.
6. Cooperation with Authorities
Where we have reason to believe a user is involved in CSAE or the exploitation of a minor, we take steps to protect potential victims, preserve relevant records, and report to appropriate authorities and recognized reporting bodies (such as NCMEC where applicable). We respond to lawful law-enforcement requests.
7. Education and Prevention
We publish in-app safety tips, age-appropriate warnings, and clear reporting pathways. We continuously review our standards against evolving platform policies and child-safety best practices, and we update this page whenever our commitments change.
